Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Process Engineer IV in Columbus, OH to lead a team of engineers and designers. You will drive process design deliverables, ensure safety, and manage scope, schedule, and cost for major capital projects.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in chemical/biochemical/petroleum processes, PE or CPIP preferred, and strong leadership, communication, and CAD/process simulation skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial process design experience.
• Ability to lead a small team on major capital projects and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and apply safety concepts in process design.
• Review and approve process engineering deliverables and estimates.
• Develop design criteria, scope, and cost studies for capital projects.
• Coordinate with disciplines to ensure inter-disciplinary alignment.
• Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking for projects.
