Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead complex wastewater treatment design across the United States. You will integrate advanced process expertise with regional teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to high-profile projects in a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with national experts, translate engineering fundamentals into practical solutions, and support business development and client relations while delivering high quality designs across municipal and industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in wastewater treatment design and research.
• Ability to lead process engineering for a large complex wastewater treatment project.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop, mentor and lead professional technical staff.
• Strong business development, proposal preparation, and marketing skills.
• Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines.
• Strong client focus.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced process designs for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities, focusing on nutrient removal, biosolids management, and improving efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior national experts to implement innovative wastewater treatment technologies on high-profile projects.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to junior process engineers to ensure project quality.
• Assist with technical proposals, crafting the process approach and project-specific innovative solutions.
• Conduct complex process modeling and QA/QC of design outputs.
• Facilitate technical workshops for clients to evaluate process options and capital projects.
