Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead complex wastewater treatment projects across the United States. You will collaborate with national experts, mentor junior staff, and contribute to winning technical proposals while delivering practical engineering solutions for municipal and industrial facilities.

The role supports a hybrid work model with in-office three days a week and opportunities to work from multiple US East regional offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Professional Engineer license required
Minimum 8 years of experience in wastewater treatment design/research
Ability to lead process engineering for large, complex projects
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to mentor staff
Strong business development, proposal, and marketing skills
Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines
Strong client focus

Responsibilities

Execute advanced process designs for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities.
Collaborate with national experts to implement innovative wastewater technologies on high-profile projects.
Mentor junior engineers to ensure project quality and professional growth.
Support technical proposals by crafting process approaches and innovative solutions.
Conduct process modeling and QA/QC reviews of calculations and drawings.
Lead technical workshops with clients to evaluate alternatives and capital strategies.
