Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Santa Ana, CA team. You will analyze and optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, driving continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing.

You will develop process flows for electromechanical hardware, write manufacturing documentation, and collaborate with contract manufacturers to establish repeatable, scalable production processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver process improvements in a resource-constrained environment.
• Demonstrated in-kind or direct team leadership skills, with backing examples.
• Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop process flows, breaking down large assemblies into logical subassemblies and sub-processes.
• Write documentation required for manufacturing hardware at scale, such as work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, etc.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to develop repeatable, sustained processes for quick-turn development and at-scale production.
• Work with technicians and other engineers hands-on, building prototype hardware.
• Travel to suppliers to perform sourcing work, solve production issues, and implement quality processes.
