You will translate complex process concepts into high‑performance systems and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with operations for optimized performance. The position is based in Denver, CO, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• This is a senior-level position requiring 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university.
• Proficiency with chemical process simulation software (Aspen, BR&E Promax or others).
• Valid driver’s license for state of residence.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical expert in process engineering for project development and execution.
• Drive collaboration across engineering disciplines and ensure design interface alignment.
• Identify gaps in process design and recommend improvements to leadership.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Prepare complex engineering drawings and documentation for permitting and construction.
• Lead the development of key deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, and data sheets.
