Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions (ESI), a division of TransTech Energy, seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead complex process designs for biogas projects. You will work with senior engineers, project managers, and O&M teams to translate concepts into high-performance system designs.

The role requires an independent, proactive engineer who guides design standards, reviews technical deliverables, and mentors junior staff while interfacing with operations to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Senior-level position with 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university.
• Proficiency with chemical process simulation software (Aspen, PROMAX or equivalent).
• Valid driver's license for the state of residence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical expert in process engineering across EPC projects.
• Coordinate design interfaces and ensure alignment on process requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
• Prepare complex engineering drawings and documentation for permitting and construction.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets, and equipment specifications.
• Participate in process safety reviews (HAZOP) and mitigation planning.
• Perform material and energy balances and sizing calculations.
• Collaborate with Operations to optimize system performance.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM standards and industry practices.
• Produce detailed specifications and technical reports.
