Qualifications

• PhD or MS/BS with 10+ years in pharmaceutical/process engineering.
• Deep knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals and pharmaceutical process development.
• Experience with process simulation tools (DynoChem, Aspen) and DeltaV preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for equipment design and scale‑up across the Foundry’s small molecule node.
• Lead detailed engineering calculations, heat and mass transfer modeling, and equipment sizing.
• Perform rig‑fit assessments and use process simulations to validate reactor geometries and scale‑up.
• Develop manufacturing and controls strategies for drug substance APIs.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional partners to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
