Job summary

Lilly is seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to support API manufacturing for biologics, peptides, oligonucleotides, and bioconjugates. The role focuses on process knowledge, equipment support, and optimization for startup-to-GMP operations at the Lebanon, Indiana site, with initial work at Indianapolis facilities.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemical engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience with a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CMO environment supporting the process engineering of drug substance API manufacturing or development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assessment and support for production operations in process knowledge, equipment support, process optimization, and asset management.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical projects; ensure safety first and compliance with Quality System requirements.
