Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation is seeking a Process Electrical & Instrumentation Lead to guide the Electrical and Instrumentation team at our Haile Gold Mine in the United States. You will lead maintenance activities, supervise technicians and trades assistants, and ensure safe, efficient execution within budget and schedule.

This role requires NFPA 70E training, 5–10 years in heavy industries, and experience in mining or mineral processing.

Qualifications

• NFPA 70E training required.
• 5-10 years exposure to heavy industries.
• Exposure to mining or mineral processing industries is a plus.
• Experience leading and supervising staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks per plan, within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors and on-site teams to ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Coach and mentor technicians and trades assistants.
• Assist in developing training for the Electrical and Instrumentation group.
• Remain available for on-call rotation and support plant shutdowns.
