Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation at Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina, USA seeks an Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to lead maintenance of the process plant and site equipment. You will plan and execute tasks, supervise technicians and contractors, and stay on-call to support operations.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, task scoping for planners, coaching staff, and driving training improvements, while assisting Capital Projects and on-site operations as required.

Qualifications

• NFPA 70E Training.
• 5-10 years exposure to heavy industries.
• Exposure to mining or mineral processing industries.
• Experience in leading and supervising staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance tasks for electrical and instrumentation.
• Plan work within allocated budget and timeframes.
• Carry out routine maintenance of process plant and site equipment.
• Scope tasks to enable accurate planning by the Electrical Maintenance planner.
• Assist with plant operation and standby during breakdowns.
• Coach and mentor technicians and trades assistants.
• Assist in developing training for the group and identify improvement areas.
• Support liaison with the Capital Projects Team and oversee in-house projects.
