OceanaGold Corporation seeks an skilled professional to maintain and advance the Haile Gold Operation process control systems. You will manage PLC/SCADA platforms, optimize plant control, and mentor technicians to sustain safe, efficient operations.

Candidates should have an electrical engineering background, 3–5 years in process control, and hands-on experience with InTouch, PLCs, and PI software. This on-site role supports continuous improvement and expansion projects.

Formación

3–5 years’ experience in process control systems.
Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Proficient with Wonderware InTouch SCADA system.
Proficient with Schneider Quantum & M580 PLCs and Unity Pro software.
Understanding of Rockwell RSLogix and RTView Studio packages.
Understanding of OSISoft PI software.
Working knowledge of industrial communications and networking methods.

Responsabilidades

Maintain and develop the Haile Gold Operation process control systems.
Monitor and optimize control system performance for plant stability.
Assist electrical/instrumentation staff with faultfinding of controls and instrumentation.
Provide mentoring to process plant technical staff.
Implement version control, code/data backups and system recovery.
Develop control system strategies for plant improvement projects.
Design and implement new systems for plant expansion projects.
Develop SOPs for critical PLC functions and update HMIs.
Optimize existing control strategies (ACE, Virtual instruments).
Advance plant automation to minimize operator intervention.
