Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking a Process Electrical & Instrumentation Lead to oversee maintenance for the Haile gold mine operations in the United States. This full-time role involves leading electrical and instrumentation maintenance planning, coaching technicians, and coordinating with the Capital Projects Team to ensure safe, efficient execution.

The candidate will join a team focused on safe and responsible mining, with required NFPA 70E training, and 5–10 years of heavy industry experience,

Qualifications

• NFPA 70E Training.
• 5–10 years of exposure to heavy industries.
• Experience in mining or mineral processing is a plus.
• Experience in leading and supervising staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and instrumentation maintenance within approved budget and time frames.
• Coach and mentor the Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians and Trades Assistants.
• Assist in leading and overseeing in-house projects; scope and execution.
• Be on-call rotation and standby during plant breakdowns and shutdowns.
