Job summary
Solenis seeks a seasoned Process Engineer to lead deliverables for capital projects and ongoing manufacturing improvements. You will collaborate with Operations, R&D, EHS, and external partners to ensure safe, high-quality execution and continuous optimization across the site.
Responsibilities include developing PFDs, P&IDs, and operating philosophies, evaluating process capability, and driving standardization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
- Experience supporting capital projects from concept through startup.
- Experience developing process design packages and technical documentation.
- Experience working in cross-functional project teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of process engineering deliverables for capital projects (PFDs, P&IDs, descriptions).
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for safety, quality, reliability, and cost.
- Conduct feasibility studies and process simulations to identify improvements.
- Support product commercialization by evaluating process capability and readiness.
- Develop and modify process methods and operating controls for quality and production goals.
- Implement process improvements and standardization across sites.
- Coordinate with external engineering firms and vendors as required.
