Job summary

Solenis, a global leader in water and hygiene solutions, seeks a senior Process Engineer to lead and execute deliverables for capital projects and manufacturing improvements. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions and operating philosophies while collaborating with Operations, R&D, EHS and external partners to meet safety, quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing or chemical environments.
• Experience supporting capital projects from concept through startup.
• Experience developing design packages and technical documentation.
• Experience working in cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of process engineering deliverables for capital projects (PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions).
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, reliability, capacity and cost.
• Conduct evaluations, feasibility studies, and process simulations to identify improvements.
• Support product commercialization by evaluating process capability and readiness.
• Develop and modify process methods and operating controls to meet objectives.
• Recommend and implement process improvements across sites.
• Review product development requirements for compatibility with existing processes.
• Coordinate with external engineering firms, contractors, and vendors.
• Participate in PHA, HAZOP, MOC, and other process safety activities.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide technical recommendations.
• Develop engineering documentation, standards and best practices.
