Job summary

Solenis LLC, a leading global provider of water and hygiene solutions, is seeking a senior process engineer to lead deliverables for capital projects, manufacturing improvements and sustainability initiatives. You'll develop PFDs, P&IDs, operating philosophies, equipment specs and process descriptions, while performing technical evaluations, simulations and feasibility studies.

Collaborating with Operations, R&D, EHS and external partners, you will ensure safety, quality and environmental goals

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
10+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing, chemical, specialty chemicals, pulp and paper, water treatment, or industrial processing.
Experience supporting capital projects from concept through startup.
Experience developing process engineering design packages and technical documentation.
Experience working in cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of process engineering deliverables for capital projects, including PFDs, P&IDs, operating philosophies, equipment sizing and specifications.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, product quality, reliability, capacity and cost performance.
Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies and process simulations to identify improvement opportunities.
Support product commercialization by evaluating process capability and manufacturing readiness.
Coordinate with external engineering firms, contractors and equipment vendors as required.
