Job summary

Solenis is seeking a senior process engineer to lead and execute deliverables for capital projects, manufacturing improvements, and sustainability initiatives. You will develop process solutions, perform technical evaluations, and provide engineering expertise from concept through startup, collaborating with Operations, R&D, EHS, and external partners to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
10+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial processing.
Experience supporting capital projects from concept through startup.
Experience developing process engineering design packages and technical documentation.
Experience working in cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of process engineering deliverables for capital projects, including PFDs and P&IDs.
Develop process descriptions and operating philosophies; sizing and specifications for equipment.
Conduct process calculations, mass/energy balances, and design support.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, reliability, capacity, and cost performance.
Coordinate with external engineering firms, contractors, and equipment vendors as required.
Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), HAZOP, and Management of Change (MOC).
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide technical recommendations.
Develop engineering documentation and best practices across the manufacturing network.
