Job summary

Solenis is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to lead deliverables for capital projects, drive manufacturing improvements, and advance sustainability initiatives. You will partner with Operations, R&D, EHS, and external partners to ensure safe, high-quality, cost-efficient processes and successful start-ups.

The role emphasizes design proficiency, technical evaluation, and collaboration across manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline required.
• 10+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing, chemical, specialty chemicals, pulp and paper, water treatment, or industrial processing environment.
• Experience supporting capital projects from concept through startup.
• Experience developing process engineering design packages and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of process engineering deliverables for capital projects, including PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions, operating philosophies, equipment sizing and specifications.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, product quality, reliability, capacity, and cost performance.
• Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and process simulations to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support product commercialization by evaluating process capability and manufacturing readiness.
• Develop and modify process methods, and operating controls to meet product quality and production objectives.
• Coordinate with external engineering firms, contractors, and equipment vendors as required.
