Job summary

Solenis is seeking an experienced process engineer to lead and execute deliverables that support capital projects, manufacturing improvements, and sustainability initiatives. You will develop innovative process solutions, perform technical evaluations, and provide engineering expertise from concept through startup, working with Operations, R&D, EHS, and external partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing/chemical environments.
Experience supporting capital projects from concept through startup.
Experience developing design packages and technical documentation.
Experience working in cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

Lead process engineering deliverables for capital projects (PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions).
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, reliability, capacity and cost.
Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and process simulations to identify opportunities.
Support product commercialization by evaluating process capability and readiness.
Develop and modify process methods and controls to meet quality and production objectives.
Coordinate with external firms, contractors, and equipment vendors as required.
Participate in PHA/HAZOP/MOC and other process-safety activities.
Troubleshoot issues and provide technical recommendations to improve plant performance.
