Job summary

SI Group is seeking a Lead Process Controls Engineer to implement and support automation systems across Morgantown, WV and related facilities. You will work with Production and Process Improvement Engineers to apply appropriate automation, programming, hardware and software specs, and start-up support.

You will lead multi-platform automation projects, develop standards, train operations personnel, and participate in MOC/PHA processes, while ensuring EHS compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related degree.
• Minimum 10 years of process industry equipment knowledge.
• Working knowledge of automation standards for process safety, alarm management, batch management, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with DeltaV, Foxboro IA, and Rockwell PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and modification of automation/monitoring systems across multiple platforms.
• Develop and maintain standards for plant automation and process control.
• Provide technical support for affiliate manufacturing operations.
• Develop training for operations personnel on automation systems.
• Support site automation including troubleshooting, programming, maintenance, and system integration.
• Participate in MOC and PHA processes related to process control.
