Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Process Control Engineering Manager to drive continuous improvements in castings through data-driven decision making and Six Sigma methodologies. You will coordinate manufacturing, engineering, and process-control activities to deliver measurable cost and quality gains.

The role requires leading annual plans, developing multi-year visions, and mentoring advanced belt projects in a manufacturing environment using complex materials processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Materials Science
• Minimum 3 year experience in process control, process improvement
• NEI/Six Sigma Master Black Belt or experienced Black Belt
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse teams and achieve improvements
• Investment Casting, Ceramics or similar complex materials process experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual Process Control Plan
• Develop a 3 year vision and plan for Process Control Improvements
• Lead and coordinate the Process Control Steering Committee
• Promote and train data-based decision making techniques; mentor Black Belt projects
• Work closely with Manufacturing to support production changes and defect reduction
• Drive process improvements and variability reduction across plants and suppliers
