Job summary

Precision Castparts in Wickliffe, Ohio seeks an Area Manager to lead manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality, reliability, and on-time delivery at the lowest cost. You will delegate to Engineering, Information Systems, and Purchasing, while motivating the production workforce and delivering results through Lean, 6S, TOC, Six Sigma and problem solving.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering (MS or MBA desirable) with 10+ years in manufacturing operations is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering (MS or MBA desirable).
Prefer 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
Extensive training in manufacturing processes, supervision, and operations management.

Responsibilities

Safely manufacture a quality product and meet customer specifications and delivery commitments.
Adhere to process control procedures and quality instructions.
Develop long- and short-range strategies for continuous improvements.
Control cost, production planning, and inventory in WIP.
Lead budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for the department.
Coach and develop the supervision team and production workforce.
