Job summary

The role emphasizes expertise in investment casting, PFMEA, dashboards, and cross-functional communication with leadership and shop floor teams. A technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technical Science preferred.
• 3–5 years engineering experience with data analysis and SPC.
• Experience writing technical processing requirements for manufacturing.
• Knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes and investment casting.
• Manufacturing experience in aerospace-related environments.

Responsibilities

• Improve plant safety and set processing specifications for area of focus.
• Become subject matter expert for responsible area and track metrics.
• Learn JMP and apply statistical methods to process improvements.
• Develop and execute plans to reduce scrap and rework.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to improve equipment functionality.
• Interface with other departments to resolve parts problems and meet deadlines.
