Job summary
Dow Seadrift Operations in Texas seeks a Senior Process Automation Engineer to lead process automation for capital projects and plant-support, coordinating internal and contractor resources.
You will develop control strategies, guide front-end loading, detailed design, commissioning, and startup, and ensure safe, reliable operations.
Candidates bring 5+ years Honeywell TPS/Experion, Triconex, and plant automation experience; US work authorization required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years with Honeywell TPS/HPM and Experion (C300).
- 2+ years with Triconex 1131.
- 3+ years plant process automation experience.
- U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Lead process automation activities for equipment changes including SIL/SIS/BPCS design.
- Develop control strategies and implementation plans.
- Define project goals, execution plans, and priorities.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define requirements.
- Develop control software, operator graphics, and simulations.
- Support commissioning, startup, and training for operations.
- Monitor and improve control loop performance and safety reviews.
- Provide FAT testing and change-management inputs.
