Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering required.
• 5–20 years in DCS design, programming and maintenance.
• Experience with Honeywell Experion/TDC3000 DCS preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain protection of environment, health and safety as priority.
• Provide technical guidance on Deer Park VCM site's DCS operation and optimization.
• Provide expertise with DCS controls/instrumentation.
• Prepare scopes, estimates and schedules for control system projects.
• Coordinate control and instrument tasks for project completion.
• Assist with configuration, installation and maintenance of DCS/SIS systems and PLCs.
• Develop programming documentation for process hazard analyses and system reviews.
• Recommend up-to-date control systems and cost-effective technologies.
• Support DCS operations and performance with troubleshooting and program development.
• Specify field instrumentation and interfacing with third-party packages to DCS/SIS systems.
• Oversee field construction, installation verification, loop checks and final commissioning of DCS/PLC equipment.
• Define spare parts and preventive maintenance for DCS components.
