Job summary

NETGEAR, Inc. seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer, ProAV for the North Central U.S. This remote role requires up to 60% travel and focuses on onboarding, field engineering, pre-sales support, and industry engagement across North Central states.

The ideal candidate brings deep AV-over-IP networking expertise, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to train customers and design scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in networking systems, AV-over-IP technologies, or related roles.
• Deep knowledge of ProAV networking products and multicast networking.
• Strong routing and switching fundamentals; hands-on AV-over-IP deployment.
• Independent lab development and advanced technical self-study.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, AVIXA CTS are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding for U.S. customers implementing NETGEAR ProAV switches and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with the North Central Sales Territory Manager to ensure successful deployments.
• Deliver remote and on-site training on AV-over-IP network design, PTP, and codec configurations.
• Develop customized training materials, system designs, and knowledge base documentation.
• Ensure production readiness in multi-switch, multi-vendor deployments.
