JPMorganChase in Miami seeks an Associate Event Planner to execute end-to-end client events for the Latin America Private Bank Events team. You will manage multiple programs—from large-scale gatherings to intimate dinners—ensuring brand standards, budget discipline, and data-driven ROI reporting, while partnering with global teams and senior management.

Based in Miami, the role requires strong communication, accuracy, long hours, and extensive regional travel.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on event planning in multi-event, high-touch environments.
• Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
• Solid project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with Latin America cities, venues, vendors and cultural nuances.
• Willingness to travel internationally and support extended hours during peak events.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
• Financial services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support market event strategy by translating business objectives into event plans and timelines.
• Manage end-to-end logistics (venues, catering, AV, travel, materials) and keep detailed project plans.
• Own event setup and data integrity in the events platform, including RSVP management and post-event ROI reporting.
• Track budgets and manage related operational processes (POs, contracts, invoices, vendor onboarding).
• Create client communications (invites, reminders, confirmations, thank-you notes) using approved templates.
• Coordinate guest experience details (invitation lists, seating, badges, check-in).
• Lead onsite execution support (room setup, vendor management, speaker support, AV checks).
• Produce concise pre/post-event materials (briefings, status updates, cost summaries).
• Contribute to process improvements and special projects for efficiency.
