Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a Privacy Operations Lead to own the operational backbone of our privacy program. You will map data flows across hosted, dedicated, and self-hosted deployments, turning complexity into durable artifacts for Legal, Engineering, and Sales Engineering.

You will translate GDPR/CCPA and AI regulation into concrete requirements, define retention and deletion rules, and build playbooks and self‑service guidance for teams across the company.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in privacy operations, legal operations, or technical privacy and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to translate privacy requirements into actionable guidance for engineering and product teams.
• Familiarity with data flow mapping, retention and deletion concepts, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own customer privacy risk assessments, DPIAs, and transfer impact assessments end to end.
• Build and maintain data flow maps and records of processing for all deployment models.
• Translate GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and AI regulation into concrete requirements for engineering and GTM teams.
• Define privacy requirements for product and infrastructure changes and drive implementation with owning teams.
• Design and run auditing and remediation workflows to ensure claimed privacy controls are evidenced.
