Job summary

GEICO is seeking a strategic Data Privacy Lead to guide privacy initiatives across the organization. You will work under the Data Privacy Director to drive risk-based decisions, implement privacy by design, and engage cross-functional teams to strengthen our Data Privacy program.

The ideal candidate brings senior experience in privacy compliance, regulatory understanding, and incident response leadership, with a proven ability to translate legal requirements into actionable controls.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data privacy programs.
• Strong understanding of privacy frameworks (CCPA, GLBA).
• Ability to read and comprehend laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design with stakeholders and report privacy risk.
• Support Director in management reporting of program maturity and privacy risk.
• Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools; OneTrust experience required.
• Provide leadership for data privacy incident response.
• Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures.
• Support regulatory change management with action plans and privacy by design requirements.
