Qualifications

• J.D. degree with strong academic performance.
• 4+ years of experience in privacy law including vendor contracts, DPAs, and data sharing agreements.
• Fundamental understanding of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other U.S. state privacy statutes.
• California license to practice law required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Practical, business-minded approach to legal risk with mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor contracts and DPAs focusing on privacy, data use, and security provisions.
• Assist with data transfer risk assessments and ensure contractual safeguards are in place.
• Develop scalable processes and playbooks for vendor privacy reviews and third-party data sharing.
• Advise business partners on privacy considerations for new products and partnerships.
• Stay updated on privacy regulations and advise on practical implications (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, U.S. state laws).
• Collaborate with legal and privacy teams on governance issues and training materials.
• Grow into broader privacy and data governance responsibilities as the program evolves.
