Qualifications

• A license to practice law in California required.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing vendor contracts and DPAs with a focus on privacy, data use, and security provisions.
• Support outbound data sharing arrangements with third parties, including data transfer risk assessments and ensuring contractual safeguards.
• Develop scalable processes and playbooks for vendor privacy review and third-party data sharing.
• Consult with business partners on privacy considerations from new products, partnerships, and data initiatives.
• Stay current with privacy law developments (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, U.S. state laws) and advise on practical implications.
• Collaborate with legal/privacy team on data governance issues, drafting guidelines and training materials.
• Grow into broader privacy and data governance responsibilities as the program evolves.
