Qualifications

• 8–12 years of legal experience with data privacy matters and negotiating complex commercial/tech transactions.
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S.; J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. federal/state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA) and familiarity with GDPR.
• Experience building or scaling a data privacy program and mentoring teams.
• Experience advising executive leadership on complex regulatory and risk matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lennar's data privacy function, prioritizing the legal pipeline and delivering high-quality, risk-balanced legal services.
• Provide practical privacy and commercial legal advice on data collection, use, sharing, retention, and cross-border transfers.
• Negotiate data processing, vendor, and technology agreements; manage data-sharing arrangements and technology licenses.
• Contribute to AI governance efforts and support broader regulatory initiatives across the organization.
• Manage matter-level financials, including outside counsel spend and budgeting within approved frameworks.
• Develop privacy function standards, templates, incident-response and data-subject-request procedures.
• Mentor attorneys and support scalable growth of the privacy team.
• Partner with business leaders to proactively address legal risks and deliver timely, practical solutions.
