Job summary

Avantpage, Inc. is seeking a senior Print & Mailing Project Manager for a large U.S. public-sector account. The role leads end-to-end printing, mailing, and fulfillment programs, coordinating with clients, Avantpage teams, and external vendors to meet deadlines and quality standards.

You will translate client requirements into production and system specs, manage budgets and risks, and ensure an exceptional client experience in a fast-paced environment. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project, program, or account management for external clients.
• Experience managing commercial print, direct mail, or high-volume print-and-mail programs for U.S.-based clients.
• Experience coordinating external print or mailing vendors, schedules, proofs, service levels, dependencies, issue resolution, and delivery risks.
• Excellent professional English, able to lead meetings, clarify requirements, present updates, and manage challenging client or vendor conversations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client program end-to-end for high-volume printing, mailing, and fulfillment.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Translate client requirements into scopes, production specifications, workflow requirements, acceptance criteria, and documented handoffs.
• Develop schedules, budgets, estimates, production plans, and delivery milestones; monitor project financials, timelines, risks, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate printing, mailing, fulfillment, and accessibility vendors; confirm ownership, dependencies, service levels, proofing steps, and delivery requirements.
• Define, test, and implement project intake configurations, production workflows, data exchanges, and technical specifications with internal teams and external vendors.
• Oversee proofing and approvals; ensure deliverables meet client requirements.
• Track vendor performance, project quality, turnaround times, and budget adherence; communicate progress and risks to clients and leaders.
• Create and maintain project procedures, workflows, and best-practice documentation.
