Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Sr. UX Principal Designer to join our team as a high-level individual contributor, operating at the Senior Director level.

You will drive the craft of our design organization and translate complex business needs into scalable experiences. You will define and own the overarching UX vision across our product ecosystems, architect scalable design systems, and partner with senior stakeholders to align design strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in UX, Product Design, or HCI at Principal level.
• A portfolio showing systems thinking and enterprise-scale problem solving.
• Ability to align design strategy with C-suite objectives and business goals.
• Deep research literacy; synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
• Resilience in ambiguity and long-term, multi-year transformations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overarching user experience vision across our most complex product ecosystems.
• Architect scalable design systems and interaction paradigms for future needs.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes, journey maps, and architectural frameworks.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align design strategy with business objectives.
• Lead research collaborations to uncover actionable insights.
