Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Test Systems Senior Principal Execution Lead for onsite work. You will own execution strategy, manage large engineering teams, and coordinate across multiple IPTs to ensure program readiness and successful customer deliverables.

Qualified candidates will have a STEM degree, 10+ years in test systems, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Relocation assistance is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience.
• Experience supporting or leading Test Systems Development efforts (hardware/software development, integration, V&V).
• Working knowledge of EVMS fundamentals, IMS/IMP alignment, R&O management, and test system lifecycle.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead cross-functional engineering teams including electrical, mechanical, software, and systems in executing the full test-system lifecycle (design, development, integration, sell-off).
• Manage day-to-day technical execution of assigned work packages, ensuring clear tasking, issue escalation, scope adherence, and alignment to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Drive timely visibility of technical, schedule, and integration risks; conduct 30/60/90-day look-ahead reviews and maintain tight execution cadence.
• Approve technical changes; contribute to FRBs and CCBs; maintain integration readiness artifacts and ensure systems meet entry and exit criteria.
