Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer in Roy, UT to lead systems-of-systems integration for the Sentinel program. You will drive design integration, oversee interface requirements, and coordinate across multiple teams in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, rigorous engineering processes, and the ability to resolve gaps in interfaces and requirements to achieve program goals. Relocation may be offered; standard 9/80 schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline with 8+ years of experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 6 years.
• Minimum 2+ years working on ICBMs and 2+ years Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with developing and reviewing interface products (IRS, IDD, ICD) and requirements.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a systems-thinking mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration activities for systems-of-systems integration, including test planning and issue reporting.
• Coordinate between SEIT and other systems interface teams to ensure alignment.
• Develop and maintain key system engineering artifacts like requirements and interface definition documents.
• Contribute to technical planning, verification and validation, risk assessments and requirements analyses.
