Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer- Integration and Test Lead onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role drives systems integration, verification and validation across multiple programs while maturing security-enabled mission computing technologies.

Qualified candidates will have extensive I&T experience, a SECRET clearance, and a STEM background with 7–10+ years. This position emphasizes collaboration with architects, product owners, and senior

Qualifications

Experience with systems development processes across requirements, design, integration, and verification/validation.
Experience in air-gapped CUI or secure lab environments.
Active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
Typically requires STEM degree with 10+ years experience or advanced degree with 7+ years.

Responsibilities

Analyze, architect and design focusing on Integration and Testing phases.
Perform functional analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation for I&T.
Plan, execute system integration, verification and validation, and risk analysis.
Lead Test Readiness Reviews with customer and certification authorities.
Collaborate with architects and product owners to create I&T environments and plans.
Lead VER/VAL efforts in Unclassified and Classified environments.
Mentor junior engineers in I,V, and Qualification activities.
