Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Principal Systems Engineer Integration & Test Lead in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will oversee cross-domain integration of cryptographic and cyber technologies for open system architecture products, guiding teams through tests, integration builds, and deployments.

You will drive planning, verification, and test readiness while collaborating with systems, software, hardware, and program leadership in a fast-paced environment. 10% travel required.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycle.
• Hands-on test planning, procedures, execution, and results analysis.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve integration defects across software/hardware.
• Strong coordination across multiple disciplines under changing priorities.
• Familiarity with test tools, measurement equipment, and automation techniques.
• Active transferable DoD Secret clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Lead system integration and test activities across engineering teams.
• Develop integration strategies, test plans, and schedules.
• Guide test readiness, issue resolution, and performance validation.
• Ensure verification/validation coverage and quality standards.
• Provide status, metrics, and technical assessments to management.
• Manage test assets, environments, and configurations.
• Support customer test events and formal acceptance activities.
• Collaborate to refine requirements, interfaces, and testability.
