Job summary
Applied Signal Technology seeks a Sr Principal Systems Engineer / ICT Lead to lead end-to-end development, testing, and deployment of ICT products. This onsite role may be based in Anaheim Hills, San Jose, or Salt Lake City and requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and US citizenship.
You will drive technical architecture, coordinate across divisions, and mentor engineers while traveling to customer sites as needed.
Qualifications
- This position requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading software engineering teams across full lifecycle.
- Background in telecommunications, data/wireless systems, or DSP domains is valued.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and cost control discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead full product development lifecycle across contracts and updates.
- Ensure activities meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Guide reviews from requirements through verification and validation.
- Promote ICT products to customers and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Travel up to 25% domestically to support sites and customers.
