Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer in Tucson, AZ to serve as the Coyote CUAS Lead Systems Engineer. You will guide multi‑discipline teams through system analysis, requirements development, design, integration, and production on the Coyote program, under SE&TC.

The role requires applying technical rigor, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with customers and stakeholders to ensure program success across development, production, and sustainment efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading full systems engineering lifecycle.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Protect system technical integrity and deliver a compliant product.
• Coordinate across disciplines and programs with internal/external stakeholders.
• Provide technical program status and drive alignment with IPTs/CPTs.
• Mentor engineers technically and for career development.
• Interface with customers, government, industry partners, and suppliers.
