The Effectors Center within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization is currently hiring a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to serve as the Coyote CUAS Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) to join our Tucson, AZ location on the Coyote programs. The Coyote CUAS programs have several contracts with both Army and Navy customers with ongoing development, production and sustainment. SE&TC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi‑disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers. The LSE is responsible for technical guidance and mentorship of multi‑disciplined engineering teams. The LSE is also one of the senior technical interfaces with internal and external customers, industry partners, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. The Coyote CUAS LSE is responsible for supporting the Chief Engineer (CE) in helping define and maintain the appropriate level of technical rigor and coordination across functions and engineering disciplines across the various production and sustainment efforts within the program. The candidate will also need prior multidiscipline engineering knowledge and experience, as well as production experience. The LSE is expected to mentor engineers both technically and with their career. The primary focus of this LSE position will be to drive system analysis, requirements development, design, system performance, integration, test and qualification along with providing a direct engineering interface for production.
