Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Senior Principal System Test Engineer / Principal System Test Engineer to join the Launch Systems team on the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This full-time role emphasizes planning, executing and documenting system testing across prototypes, development and qualification phases.

The ideal candidate has experience with test planning, execution and reporting, leads multidisciplinary teams, and holds US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher adjudicated within the past 6 years.
• Experience with system integration and test principles.
• Experience with development and qualification testing, including test planning, execution, and reporting phases of test.
• Experience leading a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience preparing and presenting technical status to leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document testing for assigned systems as part of an IPT.
• Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness of test program.
• Develop test plans, procedures and test reports.
• Support instrumentation requirements for testing.
• Oversee and direct test house activities and supplier testing for assigned systems.
• Provide test status to customer and document test results.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, suppliers, lab operations and other stakeholders involved in the testing process.
