Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Senior Principal System Test Engineer / Principal System Test Engineer to lead system test activities for the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role focuses on prototype, development and qualification testing within an integrated product team environment.

You will coordinate with system engineers, designers and analysts to plan, execute and document tests, ensuring requirements are met and status is communicated to the customer.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher adjudicated within the past 6 years.
• Knowledge of system integration and test principles.
• Experience with development and qualification testing, including test planning, execution, and reporting phases of test.
• Experience leading a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience preparing and presenting technical status to leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document testing for assigned systems as part of an IPT.
• Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
• Develop test plans, procedures and test reports.
• Support instrumentation requirements for testing.
• Oversee test house and supplier testing activities for assigned systems.
• Provide test status to customer and document results.
