Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Senior Principal SRE Engineering Lead to own reliability across a multi-application production estate. You will set SLOs, govern error budgets, and ensure observability and durable engineering patterns are in place.

You will lead incident response, drive durable fixes from root cause analyses, and mentor senior engineers in a regulated, safety-focused environment. This role emphasizes engineering judgment and scalable reliability practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SRE/Production Engineer in a multi-application estate.
• Hands-on with runbooks, safe remediation, and incident response.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP, SOX, HIPAA, PCI, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Define SLOs and error-budget governance across applications.
• Lead high-severity incident response as incident commander.
• Mentor senior reliability engineers and influence across leadership.
