Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector in Dulles, VA seeks a Senior Principal (Level 4) to support new programs within Space Superiority and Warfighting. The role is 100% onsite with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off; relocation assistance may be available. Clearances are required for start.

U.S. citizenship is a must for government work. The position emphasizes architecture, requirements & interface management, cross-team leadership, and briefing senior leaders with technical content

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience or Master’s with 6 years or PhD with 4 years of experience.
• Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance at time of application.
• Experience in systems engineering incl. architecture, requirements & interface management.
• Experience leading a cross-discipline engineering team.
• Experience presenting briefing slides to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical content and summarize milestones for stakeholders.
• Author program data products and vital deliverables.
• Model mission-level elements with mission partners.
• Assess day-in-the-life and create design reference missions.
• Produce analyses like propellant budgets and RF link budgets.
• Develop analysis tools as required.
• Manage requirements and interface documentation.
