Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of System Safety experience (3 in System Safety).
• Master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of System Safety experience (for Principal).
• Active Top Secret clearance required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and verify System Safety requirements to mitigate risks.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate hazards in spacecraft per MIL-STD-882E.
• Prepare safety artifacts (SSPP, PHA, FHA, SHA/SSHA, FTA, SAR, MSPSP).
• Coordinate with Cross-IPTs to adjudicate safety requirements and risks.
• Assist in preparing launch range safety documentation per AFSPCMAN 91-710.
• Prepare design-review packages (SRR, PDR, CDR) and present to stakeholders.
