Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Mission Engineer Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team in Dulles, VA. The role focuses on CONOPS, mission analysis, and SYSTEMS-level integration for space and ground programs.

The position offers a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and requires an active SCI clearance. You will work on cutting-edge space capabilities and may be filled at Level 3 or Level 4 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience or PhD with 1 year of professional experience
• Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application
• Experience with a space or ground system development program
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices
• Experience in requirements management, system architecture development, and CONOPs.
