Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Software Engineer to lead enterprise technology platforms, guiding planning, execution, and operation across the technology delivery lifecycle.

You will mentor teammates, contribute to SaaS/low-code implementations, and advance platform improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years implementing Atlassian products.
• RESTful APIs, JSON, XML experience.
• Agile/Scrum or DevOps experience.
• Financial services or regulated environment preferred.
• SharePoint experience preferred.
• SQL, Python, PowerShell or scripting languages.
• System and Data Architecture experience.
• Experience with SDLC tools like Git, Jenkins, SonarQube.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across planning, designing, installing, testing, and implementing solutions.
• Subject matter expertise on SDLC platforms (Confluence, Jira, SpiraTest).
• Implement Atlassian plugins and integrations with enterprise software.
• Ensure best practices for core system development, security, tuning and performance.
• Supports KM program strategy, transformation, and implementation.
• Creates knowledge documentation related to requirements and solution design.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and train-the-trainer for support and administration.
• Own solution implementation and ensure high-quality solutions.
