Job summary

Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Software Engineer to lead and contribute across the Enterprise technology platforms we maintain. You will guide the SDLC, coach teams, and implement SaaS/low-code solutions while supporting system administration and platform improvements.

You will collaborate across teams, ensure best practices, and develop knowledge documentation. This role emphasizes security, performance, and regulatory compliance with a focus on delivering delightful user

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience.
• 3+ years implementing Atlassian products.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, Scriptrunner, and XML.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or DevOps.
• Experience in Financial Services or regulated environments (preferred).
• Experience with SharePoint (preferred).
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, PowerShell or other scripting languages (preferred).
• Experience with SDLC pipeline tools (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across the SDLC for planning and implementations.
• Mentor on platform development best practices.
• Lead Atlassian plugin implementations and integrations.
• Ensure secure, high-performance system development.
• Support Knowledge Management program strategy and implementation.
• Create documentation for requirements and design.
