Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer within the Trust & Safety, Payments Technology organization. You will join an agile team to build trusted, scalable tech products, applying deep technical expertise to solve diverse challenges across technologies and applications.

You will drive architectural decisions, deliver secure production code, and mentor teams while advancing SDLC best practices and cutting-edge technology adoption in a large enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
• Expertise in Java and Python with low-latency, high-throughput server-side design.
• Experience building scalable, secure microservices using Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth, TLS, JWT, Kerberos security standards.
• Familiar with Domain Driven Design and modern architectures in Agile teams.
• Experience with AI/ML model development and monitoring tools is a plus.
• Proficient in AWS services and CI/CD toolchains.
