Ladders is seeking a Senior Principal Sales Engineer to join a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This remote role partners with sales, technical stakeholders, and service delivery teams to support enterprise opportunities across the North Central region, focusing on pre-sales, demos, and solution positioning to address security and data protection needs.

Qualifications

5-7 years of technical pre-sales experience in security or messaging software.
Consultative selling experience with large enterprise accounts.
Strong networking and security knowledge, especially email security.
Hands-on with email security platforms and migration processes, incl. Microsoft 365.
Familiarity with governance, compliance, and e-discovery for email.

Responsibilities

Provide technical pre-sales support for direct and reseller opportunities in the North Central region.
Engage with technical stakeholders to clarify services and address objections.
Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to technical and business audiences.
Prepare formal responses to RFPs and security questionnaires, plus implementation plans.
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and position services effectively.
Support complex solutions and oversee pre-sales proofs of concept with Service Delivery.
Train sales teams on product offerings and contribute to key customer engagements.
